awhile back, someone gave me a few of these baits, i don't recall, but i attached a pic, maybe someone can tell me what it's called and where to get it, it was catching them yesterday, where some of my other big name ones were not producing.

Not sure, but bream will hit almost any plastic bait that size. They’re not picky.
Man, that is one strange looking bait! That said, if it works…..

Interesting bait
Looks like a large version of an ice fishing "Nuggie" or a Little Atom nuggie.
i don't think it's a product from nuggies, none that long, but i will say the crappie were picky yesterday, i put this strange bait on, i caught 5 in about 7 or 8 minutes, did a test i put a similar bait on same shape as in the pic below, but in white, fished it for 10 min, nothing, back to the first bait, and caught 3 more. i would like to see if there is someone who carries this bait.

Looks like a Berkley Mice Tail powerbait.
I belive I saw this bait in a store recently. It seems to me it was called a tadpole something or another.

The design is a Mo Magic grub poured from a mold with the same name. I pour my own but prefer a shorter tail; these cut shorter with a razor blade:

Colors as usual a human preference - not the fish's. Good luck finding the color you posted.
I have caught fish with them under a float and with a Beetle Spin.
Do a search on Google or Ebay for mo magic crappie bait/grub
from what i can tell it is a mousetail ,they are ridiculous looking things and it is so strange how hatchery trout will just eat the FIRE out of them ? the chart ones with the orange tails are just deadly , and to top it off i seen a fella ketch a yella cat on one and a large black bass too ? :dono
Looks like it would have lots of action
Berkley Powerbait sold at some Wal-Mart stores.
A lot of the guys I work with go fish the stocked trout around here. It is supposed to be packed with people
Lots of colors at my local Walmart. For whatever reason the trout sure do like them and like Ketchn said they float too. I have some in my trout vest and they for sure work.
the first time I saw ever one I laughed at it under my breath .....
and that guy walked away with a limit of trout to my ONE ,just like that !
I never laughed at seeing one of them again for sure ....
looks ridiculous for sure and they seem to really like them ?:dono
The first example is similar to Zoom Finesse Worm with its larger tail but similar action. Other flat tail lures are made by many companies with different shape bodies.
Sassy Shad body / thin tail added:

Flat tail added to a French Fry body segment:

All of the straight tail designs catch anything that swims.
