Not many keepers. Mostly dinks in the 3 to 6" range for me that is.
Others may be doing better.

Misery really doesn't like company. I was hoping that some folks were loading the boat. I had a disappointing outing two weeks ago hitting 8-10 brushpiles that are usually loaded through the summer.
Ten brushpiles = 8 crappie. No more than 2 on any one, and a couple didn't give up a fish! So I decided to take a break and let some of this brutal heat get outta here.

Been doing fair pulling crank baits on Wylie. They been hit or miss on some days. Might hit 15-20 one day and 6-8 next,

Can’t be givin way my secrets! You and that Remus be done sucked all the fish out my spots . But we just pullin Bandits over 20-40 fow. Use 100s , 200s, and 300s. Pulling 1.3-1.6 mph or whatever they want. Just cover lots of water and find a few things worth checking on later.

And also I bought a new Garmin finder. It has a mapping feature I’m gonna like when I learn it. So been making contour maps while fishing.

Fish are on brush docks bridges any thing you can find in that depth. If you arent getting hung up you are not fishing deep enough in the brush. Fish are lazy right now during the heat of the day.
