I'm primarily a shore fisherman so prefer a jig with lots of action. My current favorites are the shadpole curly tail and the slabalicious. Any other cast and retrieve guys have a favorite "action" jig?

I like the action of Charlie Brewer sliders. The have a unique wiggle due to the tail shape.

I've got several sliders but seems like if I'm fishing someplace with a lot of those nipper bluegill I lose a lot of tails of the sliders due to them being thinner than most. But yes they work well
The Bobby Garland Stollers have lots of action
the Fle Fly ,Go Go minnow gets my vote :highfive
Honestly…..look into Bobby Garlands newest soft plastic called Slab Hunt’R, it’s a great cast and retrieve bait, which is how I prefer to fish too. It has a nice swim tail on the back that kicks back and forth giving you that action and vibration in the water, it also has a tiny slit underneath to add scent or rattles. It’s overall just a really good bait……tons of colors…comes in at 2.25” length, oh ya and they just released the itty bitty version that’s only 1.25” :ThumbsUp
But when will the itty bitty be out? I keep hearing its coming out, but I cant find it!
You are correct about the BG baits tho!

Slabanator jigs have lots of action. I have around 100 different colors. Here is picture of some of those.Attachment 406438Attachment 406439Attachment 406440Attachment 406441Attachment 406442
I forget to say also….if you really want a lot of attention, any crappie plastic really with a road runner head will do just that. Lots of flash, lots of vibration in the water.
Back in the day lindy made a jig called the quiver jig. The tail was made from nylon fibers i believe
The action was amazing!
I think I remember that one. It did have some action!

JakesDad ... seeing how you bank fish alot I suggest you try a tube jig under a bobber. Great action setup and very deadly in shallower water....
