New spin on an old rod blank, but a good one... I kinda like the IM 10.
a long rod butt is a must , it serves multiple purposes ,
one it rests against your forearm and helps keep the rod steady when your arm is extended .
two it also serves as a counter balance when you have something long in your hand out in front of you .
and three it creates more surface to your skin and that in turn creates more "feel" .
but most important of all , it allows one to SET THE HOOK without fear of breaking ones wrist :Rofl

I just got one of these new 10' target rods. I was super excited until it got here and I realised the 10' has the butt end reel seat. Didnt say that in the description on lews site. Would have been awsome if it had had the center reel seat. Probably going to give it away on my youtube channel
