Heard a fisherman lost his life on Smithville yesterday. Boat came loose from the dock and he tried to retrieve it, they found him within 50' of the ramp, PFD was laying on the deck of the boat. That is two lives lost on this lake within a month, terrible tragedy. Prayers for the families.

Sad, as fishermen we all should demonstrate and promote the wearing of PFD’s. Praying for his family.

Horrible news. I am good friends with the brother in law that lost his sister in law earlier this year on that lake. :(
