I’ve heard they’re sometimes tough to find so I figured to ask here first. I’m in need of 500 black nickel #8 sickle for my favorite jigheads. I’m good for most everything else. If anyone can give me the skinny where I can find em without a six month wait I’d sure appreciate it.

What brand are you looking for? I’d recommend Mustad over Eagle Claw. Wasn’t too satisfied with the eagle claws I got years back and hear of black chrome breaking at bend with the Eagle Claw. I couldn’t find any Mustad in that size.
This guy has 200 of the mustad for $4.27 per hundred.

Black Chrome Eagle Claw breaking at the bend….. well too late to save me as I got 1,000 of those devils.
I have not had any issues with eagle claw breaking but at one point the eyes were open on many of the hooks. I went with Mustad but I don't like that they are bigger than the eagle claw in size 6's (almost a size 4) Have switched back to EC because of this issue.
