Last night I found a product that I've never seen before. Right away I thought it would be great for transporting and storing 2 pc rods.

The velcro cable ties work well also
Yeah I’ve seen those at the Walmart for sale. Pretty cool for various things
Good ideas, thanks!

I use solid conductor telephone wire. I have a life supply of it. The velcro straps and other stuff hide from me.
I mostly just use rubber bands to hold 2pc & 3pc rods bunched together, then covered with rod sleeves/socks. Also been known to use the scunci brand or Goody brand ponytail elastic bands, once they're stretched out too far to hold MY ponytail. :Rofl
I use those to transport my trolling rods. They work great.

Good tip. CDC member crip47 shared with me awhile back that he uses these on his rod holders rather than the bungee cords they come with.
Buddy of mine uses bread ties. I have been known to use a piece of soldering wire in a pinch. But is sure like the looks of em

I’ve been using these Velcro cable management straps for 4-5 years to secure rods together and keep a roll in my truck because they’’re so handy to keep around.

I have several sizes and use them for a lot of stuff.
They also sell it in roles that you can cut to length.
Pretty cool.

OP, good idea, those things are useful.
As someone has already mentioned before, the girls hair bands work great and are multifunctional.
Comes in different diameters.
I use the large ones to keep the rain gear rolled up
Can be looped together for longer/odd/double jigs/droppers storage needs.
Can store them on the rod handle butt or over the gearshift lever when not needed.
Cheap and easy.
