2006 Triton TA196

I have a 2006 Triton TA196 for sale.
It has original Mercury Optimax 150 hp with 79 hr. Serviced this spring. 2006 Triton trailer. Minnkota Terrova Riptide 80 pd with ipilot link. Bow sonar is Humminbird Helix 9 CHIRP Mega Di GPS G2N. Console Humminbird Helix 9 CHIRP Mega SI GPS G2N and they are networked. Hi Tech 4 rod holder at bow for spider rigging. Perotti 3 Rod holders at stern for pulling crankbaits. 3 bank onboard charger. Millenium Marine Rod Transport Rack. Cable saver on TM. Skid resistant fiberglass deck for easy cleaning. Fore and aft livewells. One extra Triton seat. Boat cover. Garage kept. As rare as these boats are and seldom come up for sale. I guess I just expected more interest. I am sure the price has deterred some from responding. Just hate to give it away especially rigged to go fishing today. I am willing to consider offers and would be willing to meet a reasonable distance for serious inquiries. Located in west ky.

I guess money is pretty tight right now for a lot of people. If I were in the market for a glass boat that would be one I would look closely at.
Glass boats aren’t practical where I fish. It would be in the fiberglass repair shop after every trip. Lol
Someone will get a very nice boat when you sell it.

I’ve seen this boat up close. It is as good as they come. If I was fishing for fun with a buddy or two and not making my living from a boat, I’d be all over this one. It’s as new as you’ll ever find.

Appreciate your kind words my friend. It really is a solid boat and the TA 196 is fast becoming harder to find. It fishes great, smooth ride and lots of room at 19 1/2 ft long and 93” beam. Im a little torn abt selling because I know the odds of replacing it with another is slim to none. When I bought it from the original owner there were 2 for sale in the US and I drove to Tx to get it. I would definitely keep it if I could afford two boats. I am simply going with a different style and layout than a bass boat design so my wife and I can spend more time together on the water. Maybe not as big as yours Doug but a top and WT windshield will be much more conducive to keeping her comfortable while we enjoy time outdoors together. I hope whomever buys it gets as much enjoyment as I have. Thanks again for your kind words.

I never considered a windshield or top, much less windshield wipers, on a boat. When Excel offed me the deal they did to buy my boat, Vicki and I loaded it up. Now, I don’t think I’ll ever be without any of those. Hoping this is the last boat I ever own.

As we get older, the creature comforts become much more important.

Found a couple boats I am interested in but need to sell mine to make a change. If anyone is interested in a Triton TA196 that is ready to go fishing today now is the time. This boat is rigged to fish today, in fact it went yesterday. Has a Mercury Optimax 150 hp that had only 79 hrs when serviced in the spring. Terrova 80 pd TM has ipilot link. 9 inch HB mega sonars bow and console networked. Rod holders for spider rigging and pulling fore and aft. Millenium Marine Rod tranport racks. It has the non-skid surface for easy cleaning. Garage kept boat in excellent condition. If you already have sonars etc. and want to install your own equipment, we can do that too. I will let it go rigged as is for 23,500 OBO. These boats are fast becoming a rare commodity especially in this condition. Send me a pm and we can talk.

You have a nice boat. I have a TA196 too, and mine is not for sale at any price. If you enjoy crappie fishing, regardless of how you fish, spider rigging, long lining, pushing or pulling jigs, single pole, what have you, this boat will do it all. Can handle rough water, plenty of motor and just a great boat. Do not let this boat get away. They don't come available very often. Don't miss the boat guys.
