Final day from Ray Roberts.
Not Crappie but still cool!!
Maybe Crappie fishing will get to that level some day.
Sad, but probably not in my lifetime.

From a Life Member of B.A.S.S., I certainly hope crappie fishing never obtains that dubious level.

Didn’t they use to hold the Classic early in the year (Jan/Feb)? Was it delayed because of COVID?
I think you’re right.

I only recognize a few of the anglers.
One guy from Indiana but he didn’t make the cut.
Most of the ones I remember went to Major League Fishing Circuit I think.
Guess it pays more. Don’t know.

Been a bass tournament of some sort in my town every weekend since the first of March
I too hope crappie fishing doesn't get to that level either

Are your referring to Jet skies?
We call them Lake Lice around here.

I believe those high horsepower bass boats that run up and down the lake during tournaments
Oh, ok. Lol
Been there, done that, over it!!

"glitterjets".........
I like that description! :ThumbsUp
I knew exactly what you meant, surprisingly.
I have had them blast past me in a no wake zone hollering I am fishing a tournament. Obviously that must entitle one to break the law
I just checked the final results.
Out of the 54 anglers listed, I recognized 3 names.
Same for me.
Guess most went to MLF.

You guys crack me up – big Bad Bassfishermen? Really I bet if you look many of them sparkly glittery boats are members here. Most Rude people I’ve ran into which are few and far between are just inexperienced people or just rude people off the water in life in general.
Do I speed past people YES people tied up in boat traffic lanes that are NOT No Wake. And close by my definition may not be close to how others view it. My glitter rocket makes a much smaller wake at 70 mph than it does at 25 but that’s another thing most don’t understand. Sure I could slow down and throw a huge wave but why?
You crappie guys like to throw stones when many of the advancements you love so much came straight from the Bass Fishing industry.
I compare it to hunting, I gave up gun hunting long ago and only archery hunt. Do I make fun of the big bad deer hunters, NO to each his own! Enjoy the outdoors!
Wow,
Didn’t start the thread to bash anyone about anything!!
Just saying that I hoped Crappie fishing could get to the level of something like The Bassmaster Classic.
The money part is kinda what I was referring to.
I know the ACC seems to have the biggest payback being an aluminum Ranger and Crappie Masters pay pretty good too at their Classic but nothing relating to crappie fishing is in that caliber that I know of.
Enough said by me!!
PS. Jet skis (lake lice) are still a pain in the behind I think. Lol

I agree!!
There is a place for everything in this world.
Bought my daughter one when she was younger.
My cousin was awesome on his stand up type.
Young people would follow my houseboat for miles jumping the wake behind it. Go airborne sometimes.
