Got a few hours in before the T-storms started approaching. 87 and humid but well worth the walk in today. When it comes to 'LOOKS' those Pumpkinseeds got it going on big time. Beautiful fish. The only place they are at in Tennessee is the very north eastern part of the state.

We have them here on Old Hickory Lake, above Nashville. Also had them on Kentucky Lake in west Tn.

Nice Quicks. I like the old stuff, dad used to have one that was a round back. No point on the back of the gear case. It was old in the 60’s.
My eyes went right to the reel, but they are nice fish.
I used quick reels back in the 70s and 80s, had a 110, a couple 220s and a couple 330s.
They didnt do well when exposed to the briney water, but were very good in the fresh stuff.
Probably might still have a few stashed somewhere.
Love to get into the sunfish of all kinds. those punkins are just so pretty and fight well too. Plus the solid bluegills and it's a glorious day! GFY
