Just wanted to let everyone know that Rango passed yesterday. He went to fish in the golden lakes. He was a great man and loved to fish and teach people what he knew about night stalking. We will definitely miss him. Please keep his family in your thoughts.

Sad news and prayers for family. Rango and I fished together a few times and honestly can say he was the best you ever can meet. A very kind man and always eager to help.
Hate to hear that. Taught me a lot. Miss those rodeos back in the day.

Rango IS the reason I crappie fish today. He taught me everything I ever learned about nightstalking. He didnt hold back anything and believe me I asked ALOT. We talked alot and that I will surely miss and will remember him for the rest of my life. He was a true friend. My condolences go out to all his family.

Sorry to hear this. I never met him, always hoped someday I would but I enjoyed reading his reports and had the impression he was all about helping others.

His information and candor was one of the main reasons why I liked this site when I was first looking around for more and current info on Crappie fishing years ago.
