Precision Trolling used to make similar stickers for several different brands of crankbaits that shows the dive curve. Sadly, they're no longer in production, as they want you to get the app on your phone. Great idea & nice execution on those stickers for sure. They definitely help you get dialed in and stay in the strike zone.

For $12.99 you can download the data in a Crappie crankbait collection from Precision Trolling, that also includes jigs.

If you pull cranks as much as I do, you will be money ahead buying the Precision Trolling Data app for your phone. Huge difference between Pico and Bandit and 733 and Bombers. Dial it in instead of trying to guess will save you a bunch of baits and catch more fish.

I've found that line type and test weight can make quite a difference on the crank depth charts.
This is true. Good thing about the Precision app is you can change line type and test weight. It’s a great app.

So, do you all use line counters to insure depth, or pull it out by hand and guess?

Line counters.

Charts are not an exact art unless you have the same line type, amount of line, reels spool size, ect .Say for example someone says they caught fish at 13 ft. That may be off by my set up by as much as a foot or more with everything being exact "except " line difference from tip of rod to water . I know guys that pull without line counter reels but use Zebco 33 's . They throw them out and will add a few feet every 20 mins without a bite . When they catch fish they mark line with a magic marker . 4 Yrs ago I bought poles , rods, 77 crank baits and went to crank fest (first time out )and caught 26 by noon . We ran 6 rods . three out each side . 50,60,70 , out one side 80,90,100 out the other . Ended up everything was set at 70 something . Fish on depth finder gave us the position of most fish but we wanted to prove it correct before thinking our depth finders and baits were of equal depths . Easiest way to fill the freezer I know . The ability to return lines to the depth you find fish is way more important than any other thing involved . The hotter the water the more of a reaction bite it becomes . JMO . My opinion and a dollar will get you a small cup of coffee . PS I do have a freezer full of fish .
