gray ghost
Hmm, yeah I think another vote for gray ghost. Although white would be good choice as well.
This should be interesting hearing from guys that have been at the game for a long time!

I haven't been using jigs but for a couple years. I think white is my go to color. Works well in stained water as well as clear. I use white Crappie Nibbles too. I have all kinds of colors but I seem to keep coming back to white.
Chartreuse/black. If it has to be a solid color Chartreuse
I see this thread causing me to spend some money in the future. :biggrin

I agree on all the colors but would also throw in black. Ketchn what about orange no Ketchn Karrot is complete without it.
Back when there were only three options, it was white for me... And still would be.
day n night = red n white
white and chartreuse is my go to color as my home lakes are always cloudy or dirty. used to be blk/char but more and more crappie thunder in W/C. tho do really like the red/char
Pearl if we're going solid colors, acid rain if it's a manufactures' 'color'.
That said, I've got a winter bite here, in a certain situation where I think they're feeding on macrobenthos invertebrates, that they'll only touch black or dark brown. In the spirit of the question, I'm going to go pearl for the answer though, even though I havent pulled it this year.

Electric chicken in the broad river. Purple mist everywhere else.
Oh, occasionally monkey milk or acid rain.
Also, Vegas is really good and don't forget bleeding shad.
Etc.
Etc.
Day in and Day out, probably White is the bestest-most goodest!
whatever the fish tell us that particular day is the right choice!!
Chris
I'd probably pick Chartreuse for one color for the whole jig (or blue/chartreuse otherwise) ... with Pink a tie for whole color single color.
White/Chart

Growing up all we had were lead jigs and they worked fine, I still use a lot of lead jigs "no paint" they seem to catch fish pretty good.
Pink it is.

Black/Chartreuse
Caught 54 fish yesterday/ 45 fish May 17, 79 fish April 14. All on "no paint" ball heads. Guess you could call it a color.
sorry if it was misleading , but i meant predominant color of the jig , not the jighead itself
Reading through the list and a bait company starts to come to mind
Orange & chartreuse... White being a close 2nd
