Fished Evergreen Wednesday afternoon. Crappie were in 10 to 12 fow on west side. Fished over brush with jigs caught 10 or so in a couple hours. All 10" fish. Going back tomorrow. Hopefully wont be so windy. FYI there is a High School bass tourney tomorrow there.
Any idea what water temp is
Was 55 To 57, but this week will change that.
caught a limit last tuesday....throwing 10.5" and 11" back ....Remember the new rule in place......water temp was bouncing between 55-58.....I'm sure has come down some with the weather this week..... Good Luck
What depth did you catch them in? Over the weekend I found them still out a 14'. I'm going tonight and tomorrow. I think I will start deep tonight after all the cold weather.
Have not fished those lakes in over 10 years. Been hitting Decatur in between the cold and rain, been catching some monsters. Even Mikes tackle world is trying to keep what we are catching there hush hush..

All for the new rule, had to be a reason. Wish it was enforced!
Fished Evergreen on Sunday morn. Fish still deep. Caught a few in 26 fow, some in 14 fow, and a couple in 8 fow. All over brush. Fish are turning black in the livewell so it should not be long before they are on the banks. Is anyone else having different results?

Caught these from the bank at Decatur today too windy to put boat in.. they are catching from the bank everywhere don’t even waste time with the boat right now.. got lively minnows from mikes
Fished a couple hundred acre deep lake yesterday and same thing fish were deep most caught at 16 ft on the bottom but the males were turning black in the livewell so with this warmup they should be heading shallow real quickQuote:
