So Trace does give up a few crappie, thanks for posting. If the kids will sit still for 5 minutes we may ride up to visit trailing a boat.
Trace is a better bream /red ear lake but has a catchable amount of crappie . It was reopened last August after sitting closed for 4 yrs . (3 or 4 ) There was 20 acres or so that was home to these fish that had time to grow up . You are allowed 20 bream and 10 of everything else . Caught these last August opening day .Attachment 398208

I only fished it once. That was back when they were in the process of dropping the water to work on the dam. I've got to go back now. I didn't think it would have rebounded this quick.
there was 20 acres of water that was not drained . left alone for the most part for 4 yrs . there is a reduced possession limit but fish are healthy .Quote:
