Yea i guarantee that, and it’s going to get worse before it gets better. The flint creek watershed is so full there’s still roads underwater from lacon-falkvilke-hartselle. All that has to get to the river eventually so it will be 4-5 days before everything settles down. Then the water on the river might* start getting better. But I’m guessing close to 2 weeks.
Look out Wilson lake... here I come.

Got a feeling most lakes are going to look like that for a few days

The good news is: the flooding will allow fish to spawn shallow and might have a better year group as a result.
Y’all ever take advantage of high water conditions like these to fish flooded areas? Any success if so? I’ve seen places like Grenada Lake where guys will wade fish in flooded timber for spawning fish, just curious if it would apply around here as well.

I’m thinking about cat fishing tomorrow. My cousin caught a butt load yesterday.

these fish didnt get the muddy water memo! ( lol! ). These were caught this morning in couple hours from the bank in 2 fow on big G ! Don’t let the muddy water stop you from going ! The fish still have to eat if it’s muddy or not!
Anyone know what Limestone creek looks like right now? Was thinking about going early tomorrow morning but wasn’t even sure if I could take the road back behind Mooresville, etc.
I just didn’t want to waste my time!

No idea. But instead of turning left after the 2nd bridge keep going straight the road will run down the side of the interstate and it will T back into the low road. Turn right at the T and the ramp isn’t very far down there
Minnows and jigs ! black chartreuse, red chartreuse, orange chartreuse! They were hungry so it didn’t seam to matter! I used to not fish chocolate milk waters but have had some of my best days in chocolate milk water last 3-4 yrs so that don’t stop me from trying anymore! Usually if the Water up the fish are up if the water is down fish are scattered ! One thing I have learned is hit it for 2-3 hours and if you hadn’t got them to cooperate you prolly aren’t going to . So no need in wasting the whole day!
Don't take much does it... bahaha

I’m headed to Cedar in the morning. Going to see what happens...
I went to beulah bay to check out a couple of places I’d been wanting to try. They had the gate locked going back there. So
I left and went to limestone. Didn’t have much choice.
