So has anyone tried or perfected trolling for crappie using live scope
I don't have one, but from what I have seen... Yes!
Give us till after the spawn and will try. From a YouTube video from Australia, I saw some guys fishing and they were using the LiveScope to make sure their trolling baits were at the right depth. That is how we will use ours--not to find fish, but to make sure our jigs are where the fish are suspended in the summer.
I'm sure you'll do a great job on the video and I will be sure to check it out. :popcorn
Well I’ve pulled the trigger on one and we’ll see.
I would like to know your results. I was wondering the same thing. I'm planning on getting one in a few months. I would use it for single pole fishing like everyone does but I think it will be a great tool for trolling. That way you can see upcoming brush and structures. Good credit
I have crappie fished with it, single pole jigging, its great for that, but I want to see if it would show me the catfish while I'm moving at a slow troll??? so far no one has shown me a catfish while moving???????? They say the new lowrance will, you can look forward and to the side????? if so ?????, thats the way I'm going?????? anyone have info on that????
I have herd that livescope is the thing of the past now and the Lowrance will put it to shame!! But thats just what I have herd. I watched some YouTube videos on in and in my opinion it was harder to read.Sent from my SM-N960U using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app
I watched a video on this topic last night. The Lowrance had a greater distance but was a little harder to read. I would assume you would get use to it if used more. The Lowrance was picking up and reading the guys buoy marker line at 90' if I remember right.
I think I watched the same video but I couldn’t read much off the lowrance might just be me but the Garmin is easier to read

You most certainly can use it for trolling. I like it a lot. Can see them coming and adjust the depth of your baits, etc. Worked great yesterday.

Hey mac, lets just hope it's better than live scope. :dono
Installed one back in Dec, started out singel pole fishing last couple of trips I've been tight lining it works either way been very impressed with the detail still learning how to adjust gain ect I have my ducer mounted on a low pro rod rack mount , attaches to the trolling motor I can rotate right to left see the baits I'm sold on it
You’re gonna get one?? After the way you have rode me about video games. Hahaha, can’t wait to turn the table on you.
