I think you’re right, bass are gonna love em. Maybe a pike or two also. And most of all, Welcome from Central Florida.
Ty Skeetbum, its 14 degrees up here this morning. I’ve been tying up a bunch hoping it will speed up spring arriving.
Welcome to the board!

Don’t forget black. I bought some hobby foam at hobby lobby a few years back that was cheap, lots of colors and a couple of thicknesses. Worked great.
I’ve done black too for striped bass fishing.
I met jack many years ago and was lucky enough to take some tying classes from him before he got ill. Quite the character, amazing tyer. Sad we lost so much knowledge when he passed.
I tie these up in a variety of sizes and colors.
Those look very nice. So do those float on top of the water? Had never seen them before. Only fish for pan fish.
You can tie them up small Fun fishing top water, cut the lip off and they dive then rise to surface. Trigger lots of fun strikes
Look up gurgler and slider patterns on youtube.
Those are nice ties and should work for bass. As always, it is surprising how small a fish will attack some of these baits. Like you, waiting for some warmer weather, which may hit the 60s this week in SE PA. Hope so!

Attachment 395829Attachment 395830The slider has no lip. And it darts under the surface when stripped quickly, it will pop back up at rest. The gurgler with its big lip will make a pop when pulled in hard short strips. When stripped steady it leaves a good sized v wake that will draw attention from feeding fish. They are fun especially on flat calm days.
I have some of the cutters and am now thinking about getting the set of gurgler cutters due to your post. I am thinking of more fly fishing this year, well at least some, lol!

Skip no need for cutters. I just use a straight edge and a razor knife Scissors if you want to taper. Pretty simple ties.
