How was the wind
Nice mess, appears your lassoing them as they come through the gate onto the Lake...lol...Yep, I see your from KY & know how the wind can roll big swells on Lake KY...Crescent is smaller of course, but seems to be in a wind tunnel @ times, be careful out there. Thanks for sharing...
The wind was horrible. About to quit two or three different times and then I would catch one. Caught the biggest one of the day as I was starting to pull them in

A very good day and a nice bag of fish.
you were on Crescent lake in FL?
I can only imagine what the waves were like on Crescent yesterday.... I know I've hit the mouth several times and turned around , nope now way, not gonna do it :) Glad you stayed with it and caught a good mess!
Have they moved close to shore now? Also, if you havent' tried a bumble bee with fire tail.. give that a pitch too, always does good
Jan. 8 was the first this year i tried single poling along the weed edges, and i caught my limit +.
Starting then 15 5 hour trips have netted 222 fish total, with 20 yesterday.
1/16th and 1/24th oz with Bobby Garland baby shad in about any color.
My personal favorites are monkey milk and electric chicken with pink head.
Pink or orange heads seem to be favored.
Just go slow, very slow and into the wind when necessary.
