Dark colors. I also have good success with BG glitter critter. And nibbles is a must. Maybe better off with catfish hooks and chicken liver

Put it in front of them. They have to eat. Don’t get to caught up in colors. I’m more worried about current over clarity of water.
I went today and it was slow slow. I managed to get 12 keepers but I had to work for them.
Monkey milk worked good this evening on a short trip !
they got to eat so if u can get it in their face they will eat it! Muddy or not !

It was really a nice day. But the areas I normally fish there were frozen. I couldn’t get where I wanted. But better than sitting at home.

Were you fishing limestone creek? If so, how high and muddy was the water ? Can not wait for the warmer weather to get here. Thanks
[QUOTE=fishing man;4109593]Yes. I put in down past the duck tower. It’s way up from what it was. It was stained but not near as bad as I thought it would be. The big pit was frozen. Couldn’t get in there. Should be good by next weekend with the warmer weather.
