Nice video. I really enjoyed watching that. Subscribed as well.
Good video. Like the way you roll the hair once tied on, you taught me something. Keep it up.

Loved the video Mr Wirth. Learned a little something and I have tied Hair jigs a while. Thank you.
The head cement is lacquer thinned with MEK.
Yes I bought a qt of High Gloss Clear Lacquer and a qt of MEK about 12-14 years ago and I mix that like 50/50ish, I don't measure it. I mix it in one of the little bottles with a metal tip to apply it. When I finish a jig I just put a drop or so right at the head where I finished and it soaks in and dries super fast and it is so thin that most of the thread base will also get plenty from that drop.
Anyway I still probably have 1/3 of each qt left. I am sure it cost a lot less than all the little bottles of glue would cost and that kind of glue always leaves a hard spot and mine will not leave anything to tell it was glued.

I keep saying I'm going to do this but I haven't even finished the little bottle of head cement I currently have!
Wow that was a great video and a really nice pattern. I'm about to start tying for crappie too. Thanks.
Great video buddy
