I'm on the verge of unliking the FB page. All I've seen today is grown adults being children. I dont come to a fishing page for religion, the same as I dont go to a religious page for fishing. Now people are all in a tizzy and just being childish, thinking people are taking away their freedom of religion. It's just all silly, and I'm amazed that grown outdoorsmen and women are acting this way.
I just saw some of it. Didn’t have time to read it all. I’m sure what I read was blown out of context. But I believe in freedom of religion.

Don't understand the ruckus over a one guy posting about a baptism . Not really place for posting it but won't condemn anyone for it . I know Slab does not want politics on here or there on facebook .

Yeah, you're better off staying away from fakebook. Fakebook algorithms encourage mob mentality I seen it with my own eyes yesterday. It shows posts to "some" and the posts they promote are the "misunderstood or misinterpreted" posts to specifically rile folks up. They feed off the mob to get more posts and views. You're better off staying right here on Crappie.com were we are civil.
Three things will get folks riled up quickly. Politics, Religion and sports. I don’t discuss those with anyone.

I didn't get to see it. But was the issue....the fisherman photo bombing the baptism or the babtism scaring the fish. I probably could go either way on this one.bangs head.

A lot pf folks try to become members of the fakebook page without reading the rules and with no intent of playing nice. I had to ban some folks who got involved in this fiasco yesterday. Banning is taken seriously and those who were went WAYYYYYY over the line and rules.
I have FB, but just for family, and some close friends. Plus also made and take care of the church I go to, page. And yes I sometimes have to put people on 30 day lock downs, lol. Especially when it's politic season.
To defend Slab, and it being there, is because, sponsors here, told him that he had to have the site there also, to have them be sponsors here. Have never been to it, and glad that I didn't join it. Lots easier to deal with one's here than there.

Like Doug I banned a few post's yesterday. I did not ban any people. I also mod on the FB C.c sight. Would be a good place if people stuck to it's intent. Man do we get a lot of people wanting to join. I question how some from foreign countries even find us. As far as the post that caused the ruckus, I am not against that kind of video. But I think it would be better served on a religious sight, not a fishing sight. Should we not have some control of the content? Just like on here, we mods have control and praying for members needs is okay and allowed on both sights, but it is a fishing sight. Now fish on.
