Pompano are often confused for Jacks(Crevalle). nonono They both pull your string to the limit testing your line strength/drag settings from beginning to very end. Their fight/panic behavior have a distinct difference after you've learned through experience. Jacks are delicious when smoked and made into a dip. Haven't tried them other ways.:twocents
