My wife and I got our first one 10 days ago
me and Sweetie trying to get things lined up to take it
we are into so much other medical stuff we dont know if
they will give it to us. probably find out in a couple days
Got my first. Felt a little crummy the next day but took ibuprofen and was good enough. Fine the following day.
Wife got her second Thursday. She felt pretty terrible Friday afternoon/evening but was back to good by Saturday. Seems to be real common for the second to be a little worse. Still way better than Covid!

Aint got to my age group yet....but I'm gonna.
Already had both. I'm an essential worker as I work at a medical facility. No problems at 63. Hey- if I'm so ESSENTIAL, how about a raise? :Rofl
Hope you get one. York county don't give shirt about the essential workers up here. County Cops got 2 grand and the County office and tractor operators got 1 grand but the essentials on the waste / recycle sites got ZERO! We are not considered full time. But job description says full time part time. 78 hours is not close to 80 hour reg time. Got a lot of guys quitting over it. No pay raise in three years. LOL
not eligible yet. only a lowly public school teacher
Just got a letter at work saying that Tyson employees are part of the essential work force. The letter said theyre not sure when the vaccine will be available for us yet but it will come to the work place when it is.
Well, just had my second shot and it kicked my tail last night. This morning I didnt have the strength to even make a phone call to work telling them I wasnt coming. Slept to 11:30 this morning and musta sweated out whatever happened and now I'm almost fine. Whew! Glad that's over. Now....lets fish!!;)
Got my second dose of Pfizer yesterday. Arm is sore and heavy. No other issues.
Me and baby get 2nd sat. I could not even tell I had a shot wife arm was sore a little bit the next day.
My thought on the shot.
The risk of dying from covid higher than the risk of the shot.
My mom's thought on the shot.
She is not getting the shot because if she dies from covid then it's her time cause God said it's her time and you can change her mind
But what if God gave us the researchers to develop a vaccine to stop this.
Tell me your thoughts
I've had both, 1st the day after I just felt lazier than normal, 2nd shot i was fine. I had planed to do nothing forbthec2 days following the 2nd because people said it was worse than the 1st.
My wife and I had the Moderna shots. My second one I had a headache and felt tired, my wife was tired and felts her heart was racing a little after her second one. I hope it doesn't give us something else later in life to worry about. :juggle
I heard a lot of folks say they weren't getting the shots because they don't trust the government.:dono
Not for me. Don't trust our COMMIE government!
I'll pass. This is an experimental vaccine, never before has this type (mRNA) vaccine been approved or licensed. Everyone involved with the development and rollout has immunity from liability. It hasn't been tested at all, no animal testing, no idea what possible side effects may develop. One of the two vaccines was pulled last week because of dangerous side effects already. The virus itself has a 99+% survival rate for healthy people. Personally, I had a bad reaction to a Rubella vaccine as a child in the mid 1960's and as a result, have lived with severe nerve damage in my ears since. There's about 1000 things that I'm more likely to die from than Covid. The testing of the vaccine is being done now, on the population. And, FWIW, in spite of medical scientists best efforts, never has there been a successful vaccine for any Corona-type virus. Just never have gotten there with decades of attempts. That's why we still have the common cold. And again, never has there been a mRNA - type vaccine licensed.
Vaccines are great, a gift from God with the miracle of modern medicine, and many lives have been saved from vaccines. But many bad vaccines have had to be abandoned because they were more dangerous than the pathogen or virus they were trying to eradicate. (Look into Antibody Dependence Enhancement.) Those dangers show up by testing. Most vaccines take a minimum of 10 years to as much as 20 years to develop and test, and again, many being abandoned because of dangers found during the arduous testing procedure. Every protocol that has been in place for generations, has been bypassed in the rush to get this vaccine out there. So no, I'm not taking it.
I'm no medical person nor is it my intent to spread fear. But I have looked in to this and had conversations with people much smarter and educated than myself. I've dug and found more information and learned more than I ever intended to know about vaccines. Frankly, clear unbiased information is difficult to find, particularly considering the censorship of those in the medical community with differing opinions from that which we are being fed daily from the government.
Having said that, I hope this vaccine IS a God-send and I hope there are as yet, no unforeseen long term dangers. But that remains to be seen.
And anyone with underlying conditions that increase the dangers of contracting Covid should certainly decide for themselves what is best for them, as all this is my opinion based on what little my peon brain can absorb. I personally know people, healthy people who have suffered greatly though recovered from Covid. I know others personally that have had a family member die with it. So again, don't decide anything based on what you read here. But if you decide anything from what you read here, just let it be to decide to find out more on your own. I don't want to discourage anyone from doing that gives them peace of mind.
All I had to do was have my family Dr. say he does not recommend it for the same reasons as Ranger R61!
