My biggest Redears
I have a ton of pictures on this laptop and decided to delete a bunch when I came across this file from Lake Havasu when I was there in May of 2015 fishing with ledhed. They weighed 1-14, 4-09 and 2-07. Attachment 392971Attachment 392972Attachment 392973

If only the Asian carp could make our good fish bigger.

Awesome does not seem to do them justice . :ThumbsUp

Awesome fish Jim, just massive. That was a trip to be envied by many of us.maybe I’ll get there one day.

The 4-09 was 17" with a girth of 18". It was as long as the current world record but that fish had a girth of 19.5 inches. The mussels are the reason they get so big there. When we pulled the anchor a rock came up with the anchor and it was covered with them.

That is an awesome fish. Wow.
-
Holy cow what a monster... did you catch it on a hand tie?
-
Absolute whale of a red ear

The two biggest were caught with live crayfish about 3" long. The 1-14 was caught on a hand tied jig but it was one of ledhed's jigs.Attachment 393248 A rock that we pulled up with the anchor with some quagga mussels.
