Which Lake? Awesome fish. I'm on the coast catching fish with swollen eggs already in the rivers. Water is around 50'ish. I fish Ross Barnett, have a camper there, looks like you're further north. Is that shad in the bellies?
As far as time lines, I like to hit the road to start fishing April Fools Day, seems to be a good luck day for me.
