I prefer a muff with a handwarmer in it over gloves. Also lots of towels to dry hands off.
I may end up having to buy a few pair. I wish we had a better selection locally to check fit and etc. For hunting i use muffs, because i feel they are warmer. Just not sure i will like holding a pole with muffs. I see several pair of gloves that have holes for several fingers individually.

While I don’t like my hands covered since I feel it hinders sensitivity, it does get chilly enough to need a pair occasionally. I’ve used fleece fingerless gloves and a FootJoy winter golf glove. Add a small hand warmer inside and they’re good to go.
I found a pair of gloves at Rural King that were insulated waterproof nylon gloves. $8. Only worn them once so far but keeps your hands dry and fairly warm (depending on how bad you sweat). The link below is similar.
Kinco Men's HydroFlector Waterproof Hi-Vis Orange Lined Thermal Knit Shell and Double-Coated Latex Gloves Orange - 1784P
I don't wear gloves but have a tip . We used to trap in winter and had our hands wet alot . Sure helps to rub vasoline into hands then wipe with dry cotton towell . Your hands shed water like a Duck's back . Sure helps keep hands warmer and no chapped skin . :twocents i can't do much with gloves on .
I’ve used some fleece gloves with no fingertips for a long while. They aren’t the magic bullet but they give me relief from the cold and I retain my dexterity. A warmer slid into the backside also helps more. I’ve tried on countless pairs of gloves and bought a few without trying them first, only to return them. Lots of them were too tight and restricted the circulation and the hands got uncomfortable cold in record time. Rag wool gloves with the mitten type covers over the tips of your fingers can work but I had to remove the covers. I had a pair of those that were lined with gore Tex, I think, that really worked well but lost them one summer cuz they were nowhere to be found the next winter. Never found any wet suit material type that weren’t too tight. Point to this rant is this——-don’t buy em unless you’ve had them on your hands for a few minutes.
Up here in the Nort country open water winter fishing usually take 5-6 pairs of brown jersey gloves when they get wet change them. For moving from spot to spot good heavy mittens. Having some hand warmers around can really help when hands get extremely cold.
I use fingerless wool gloves, but I also have a heated jacket with heated pockets.......:highfive
I got a pair of neoprene gloves for Christmas. They have slots cut into then do you can poke out your pointer finger thumb and then truck them back in when they get to cold. I've used them twice now in 30° windy fishing and they work pretty good. They keep your hands warm even wet. So I like that.

Use nitrile x large examination gloves covered with rag wool gloves keeps you warm and the rag wool slip on and off real easy when needed.works good for me.
I officiate football on Friday nights. When it gets cold we do the Vaseline trick. Works good as insulation against the wind.
I’ve posted this before, but an igloo cooler full of hot water works well if you have room.

I can't do anything with gloves on except for driving the boat. I carry a buddy heater to keep my hands and feet warm.
I use wool gloves with no fingertips. Keeps your hands warm even if the gloves get wet
I bought some of the dipped work gloves recently, but haven't been out yet to see how well they work.
I found these Cold Weather Gorilla Grip Gloves online and ordered a pair. I got the XL and they fit about like a medium.
These SpeedKnit thermal Mechanix Gloves are available at Autozone/Oreilly for $10-12. I picked up a pair of them and they fit my hands better than the Gorilla Grip gloves.

Just arrived this morning. Got these wool fingerless gloves from amazon and I really like them. I think these will be much better then what I have been wearing.
I have used fingerless rag wool gloves for over 40 years now. I can tell you that they flat work. Not only do they keep your hands warm, but they retain their heat retaining qualities as well.
I have 4 pairs of Buff fingerless gloves, the old style, and one pair with fingers ( my winter pair) looking for a better solution too.......
