Thanks....I sure do miss fishing down there, Union, Sherman, Grassy Lake, Belle River, Verrett, Christmas Tree canal.....Henderson is such easy trip for me, thats why I go there...Doirons is twice as far and a 2 lane road and I don't like driving in the dark....I heard that the water is so low, Doirons launch at the car wash is not open...or hard to launch...I enjoy your post from that area, brings back old memories...we almost built in Oak Harbor...just didn't work out...Quote:

Depending on weather, me and a buddy are planning on going on the 16th. It has been DEAD around my area! RichieRich and myself went to Sabine Saturday and had 2 hits, he caught his and I missed mine. Of course it was those old trash fish (some people call them bass) we were fishing for. He had caught 22 the previous Sunday.Quote:
