My last crappie for 2020
I decided it was going to be to nice of a day to sit at home so I set out to find some places to drop some structure I’ve been working on. Well after getting on the water about 830 I started riding I couldn’t find any bait fish anywhere so I ventured on the Mississippi side of Pickwick and the first cove I pull into was loaded with bait from one end to the other so I had to try and catch a few to bring home so I pulled up to a couple of trees that had fallen in the water turned off my electronics tied my boat to the tree and pulled out a slip cork and caught me dozen to finish the year out. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everybody. Attachment 391289Attachment 391290

That's awesome! I did that not too long ago. Just pulled in a spot, turned off everything on the boat including my TM and fished. I enjoyed it, but I didn't catch a bunch of crappie like you did. LOL

Great Post. I think I'll dig a worm head to my home ramp. Catch a single bg and turn it loose

Way to go and thanks for sharing!
It never fails, the secret to Crappie is always find the baitfish, then depth and bait color.
