Just a reminder that Pa rifle deer season will come in this Saturday and will have a Sunday hunt also. It never hurts to wear or at least have a orange hat when fishing or doing any outdoor activities. Be safe!

It will probably be noisy in my area. Not looking to Sundays, with guns going off. I like it peaceful and quiet then.
Yes I agree that the change does not effect me. Being retired any week day works if I want to hunt or fish. I do understand that people have to work Monday - Friday so this gives them a extra day to hunt. However I have heard if they allowed Sunday hunting I will post my land. I just wanted those who did not know the change to be care full as this Sunday will be hunters with rifles in the woods.
You need to go look at the regs. Neighbor told me that instead of signs, you just paint trees, and if in the open, guess you hammer stakes in, that are painted. But I don't remember the color he told me. He said that whatever the color is, it is very easy to see.
That color would be purple. I am not sure how it was chosen, but there is a lot of fresh purple paint out there.
Got 4 cans coming ,had to order it online, none local . Not all states recognize it as no trespassing.
But apparently Pa and WV does, and maybe Ohio.
I think that Ohio can't make up its mind .:dono
I thought Ohio made up its mind on Nov 3, but Pa is still debating? lol
Anyway due to the virus, this is only the second time since 1947 i will miss the Pa buck season.
Just to risky for me to expose myself for both the long trip both ways from Fl and the stay there as well.
But somehow we all made it when we had to take time off to hunt.
And only time will tell if the change brings about more excitement over hunting.
there's not much shooting on the second day, heck theres not much shooting on opening day any more, I doubt you will notice shooting on sundays, was on lake arthur saturday fishing and only heard a few shots in 6hrs and they where not close
because guys are spaying trees to keep other guys out of their areas they hunt, even though they don't own it
Some guys pay leases to hunt others land. So usually they also get the permission to post it. But there are those who in the past hunted others land, without getting permission. Mt parents had a small farm, and we had a pasture, with barbed wire. And they would either wrap the wires to go thru, or sometimes cut or broke it. Don't ask me how many times a year, we had to go chasing after the cows. Cause sure enough, they would always find the spots. We also had a strand of electric wire, and that they would stop to the ground. So truthfully, I have no respect for those who don't give a dam, about peoples property.
Last year a bunch of hunters thought that they would hunt the land around my place, that was all posted. Parked their cars at different places. Then proceeded to hunt all of the properties, that were legally posted. Someone saw them, and called the game warden, who then showed up, then called the police, to assist in catching them, But we never heard what happened to them.
Here's is a different tact on the color purple.

Was the Covid-19 the reason for more fishing? Yes, and why dealers pretty much sold all their boats, and campers stores sold more than usual also. Stores also sold more fishing equipment.
Yes I think that is true! And watch next year and see how many boats and campers will be for sale after the cors 19 is over .

Yep, might be some good buys out there!

My own opinion is that they will try to keep everyone locked down thru 2021. And while some might be for sale this coming year, wait until 2022, when they are really for sale. This includes trucks they has to buy to tow them.
Here's an example of how nuts the boat dealer season was. I have a friend that owns a dealership in NE Ohio. He had a customer drive all the way from Texas to pick up a boat. Told him that was the closest he could find that boat. And no, it wasn't a $75,000. dollar Bass boat. Just a regular old fishing boat.

Local Tracker dealer told me they had 40 ! on back order .:yikes:dono
How many of those RVs are being used as shelter by those fleeing from other places?
There will no doubt be a glut in the resale market at some point, maybe as soon as next spring for those who didnt go far enough south.
You only need a truck when you tow them, and not everybody does.
Lots of them get delivered to a location by a dealer, then never moved.
LMAO BobC. I own a 2005 4 cylinder Colorado now. But have been wanting to upgrade, to another one, probably 4x4 with a 6 cylinder.
Keith, I miss my truck. The only one I ever had - a fire engine red GMC Sonoma. It had the smoothest clutch and trans of any manual I ever owned, and I had plenty. Its Achilles heel was a DOG, DOG, DOG of a 4 cylinder engine that had NOTHING off the line. I mean nothing! Once you hit the numbers a pleasure to drive. Around here, some roads feature speeds of 10 to 70 mph, within minutes! LOL If you can’t get off the line they are in the bed of the truck. rotflThat all said, I think I have one truck left in me, but you better believe it will have some horses.
