I would like prayers from my C.C family

Had to go see my urologist a few days ago and got some bad news but not the worst news so far. Was sent to get an MRI to check for cancer which doc said he was 99 percent sure I did not have cancer but I'm going to get a biopsy anyways to be sure. Should have surgery real soon after results are in from the biopsy. I have been fighting this prostate swelling for years. Hope I caught it in time like doc says. On a kind of funny note I know where every bathroom between home and Erlanger medical center. Thanks guys for prayers Dollfly.

Dollfly---12 years ago they told me that I had stage 4 prostate cancer and that it had spread to my bladder. I Had surgery and approx. a year later it came back. went thru 42 radiation treatments and been on chemo 5 different times . the radiation burnt my bladder and tubes. I was going thru 10-14 pads every day. After being in remission for 1 year they went back in and put a Urinary control system in. they also wrap my tubes with steer guts-I know use 1 pad a day. THANK GOD . IT take some fight don't just sit around , IF you ever want to talk GIVE me a call. 334550-9972 Walt

Prostate biopsy is not a big deal. Scary, yes but painless. I went thru the prostate swelling earlier this year. Ended up in ER unable to pee. They drained 2.5 liters of urine off!! Got catheter and had to use a it and bag for 3 weeks before TURP surgery. I fished several guide trips and a 2 day Crappie USA tourney wearing the catheter. TURP surgery is life changing in some ways but at 64, I think I can pee over my house!!
Good luck with your situation but from my experience, not knowing was the worst. Prayers.
