Looks like a pretty nice little boat. Be a great project that I bet don’t take much. Spark plug and shot of gas and I bet she would fire.
I would do like Cray said. Empty out gas tank and install new. Change spark plugs and put a set of water ear muffs on it and see if it will fire up. Make sure to see if you are getting a steady stream from the water pump because it will probably need to be replaced.
If it does not get going there is a guy on M hwy by flat mo. He knows them older motors inside and out. I believe its Gary's. Be a bit of a drive but hey everyone needs a road trip.
Big thing right now os tires. They take a 155/80R/13. Nobody stocks them. I will go over today and pull the rims and order the tires...
E-Trailer.com sells tires and will ship them to you, check them out.
I would buy new wheels and tires already mounted. Cheap and everyone has em. Pretty much just need to pick a 13 inch with the right bolt pattern. 12 inch tires would work fine too.
I'd start at academy sports.

Looks like a 1973 sportwin motor.
Trying to figure the age of the lowe line boat...
Looks like the could do dendrochronology on the trees that were growing around it :)
Best I can tell the last time this boat was on water was 2010. Originally we were talking trade but I declined trading my sander for the boat.
After some cleanout...
Ting to understand these bilge pumps for the live well. Anybody explain these to me....
That's gonna be a nice ride!
So the bulkheads look to be capped. I think both are drains. One would drain the live well when the plug is pulled, the other would be the recirculation over flow. The pumps in the stern is a simple bilge and the garden hose one should be tossed and replaced with a through hull pump that has a screen on the outside of the transom for your live well.

If this in inside the live well the lower cap would be the "plug" the upper cap could be replaced with a threaded 90 degree fitting and a short pipe pointed upward as high as you want the full line to be. Water will over flow into the open pipe.
If those fittings are below water on the outside of the boat I can see pushing water into the live well when the boat is under way, so you should watch for that first time out.Attachment 388617

I called the basspro here and think we got it all figured out. It pulled from the rear.
Filled the boat today to kill anything alive in the boat and to check to see how many leaks. I have two that require attention and the rest are small rivet leaks.
Live well holds water but I would like to seal the whole thing if possible ..
Boats been rewired, new bilge, new aerator, new switches, stereo, new batteries. Front trolling motor works great. No carpet yet , still deciding on a conversion. Had on maple leaf and the odessa reservoir about 9 hours. Fishes just fine...
Nice job saving that one, looks good!! Boat has a lot of good years left in it, enjoy.
The boat is a goin. I've been out in it about 20 times. It leaks lil but it's fine. It ain't pretty but it fishes just fine. Considering a conversion, not sure yet.Attachment 405882Attachment 405881
