Ya think the Rock will be fishable Saturday? Looks like lot of rain to north of it. Could you get in The Swamp or Abbots Creek if lot of rain comes down?

Usually takes the creeks some time to muddy up. I was thinking of going as well. I bet the main lake is out. Flat swamp or second creeks are going to probably be best bet. I don't like the cold front hitting as well.
If you can wait til tomorrow afternoon I'll try and let you know what it looks like.

I am assuming that after the cold front, I need to leave my pulling rods at home and try tight lining. Haven't been doing too good pulling lately anyway. Just have not tight lined much.

Probably would be a good idea to buy some sandbags or cinder blocks. Find floating trees/new brush piles n sink them where they float. Lots of water probably moving through.

Anybody been by the Rock today? Supposed to go in the morning and wondering if it is worth the trip if it is that high.
I am headed to badin in the morning.
The mud line is just above Second Creek and quite a few sticks. Second Creek itself is good. Lower end should be fine.
