Temps have dropped into the low 30s and the ground has snow cover.
So with a tear in my eye I am putting the boat away for the winter.

Thats so funny. Heres my version. As the water temps drop into the high 70's, I make sure all the summer work that has been done is all complete and final connections made. New batteries if needed, fish finder points loaded in both units.
As the air temps drop into the low 70's the fall/winter fishing season has began. It usually last through the beginning of June for me.
Thanks for sharing the picture. Beautiful scene.
When did MN move into the arctic circle?
Beautiful picture, but I hate being cold.:dono
Nice picture! It doesn't look good for fishing but each season has it's own beauty.
Or so I'm told, we mostly skip winter around here. lol
A very pretty pic, I miss those scenes.
I am not a snow fan, but I do like snow ice cream.:peacesmile

down here if you put your boat up for the winter in Texas we say THANK YOU ....just saying :Rofl
Always found it odd that around the time folks are putting boats away I am getting mine back out from the summer and getting it ready for fall and winter hunting and fishing. I just don't care to fish in the summer heat and fight the pleasure boaters.
We think alike. SUmmer is a good time to upgrade/repair. I do make a few trips out with the wife to hang with friends and their kids and tubes and ski boats and jet ski's and loud radios. Its funny...they usually flock around my stuff to see why the trolling motor is moving around when i have it in spot lock. or what the heck are all the cables for.
That's what I like about hunting season starting - gives me more room on the lake!!
yeah, all you guys from the South is what has me looking at moving there. Hopefully I'll be calling TN or TX home soon!
I get it RLS40....but ice season will be here soon and it's a good time to charge the flasher, organize your ice fishing tackle, order new lures, bait and outer wear, check the ice cleats and shanty for wear, buy propane and anticipate the head shakes on the ice rods that big crappie always provide!
We're in the mid 80s this week. I'm waiting for it to cool off!
