I have been casting and tying jigs and flies for 60 years. Just had a lot of practice!
There are a lot of techniques involved and practicing these techniques gets your work better and better. This jighead that I cast has two different power paints. well said with practice and maybe add a little studying into it also. I always like to tell guys to look at the lesions on Fly Anglers on Line and I will leave a link. Do more than what videos and use these lessons to see how they use and tie in their materials. It will also help with the language of tying.
