I plan to replace the original transducer device with this much simpler version. The original device had mood swings, but it did work fine and still works.
The device is not clamped tight to the table, so it bounces some. The device will be solid mount on the Pondtoon.
My daughter in law was curious about the widget.
My pal Rickie made a few parts for me. Most is made from scrap stuff I had stuffed away. I am a hoarder.

Great idea. I have one from an unused trolling motor that responds to a wireless remote. Makes it so easy to focus on the brush and fish while the Minn Koda Ulterra does it’s slow dance.

Patents are too much trouble. You need a viable market for any product. Most people start with a product of their genius. They spend money for a patent only to find that there is no viable market. I have made many patentable gadgets, but I build stuff for a hobby and entertainment. Building stuff from scratch, including design and build is much more challenging than crossword puzzles.Quote:
