TCB is what I recomend.
Another vote for the TCB. 1/16 with lure should go quite a ways.
TCB
BTO also votes for TCB.

TCB....
Regards
I have both the TSS and the TCB. I don't really see any difference in casting distance of the two. I have got the SOS 2# line on them. I can tell you this if I didn't have them they would be on order. You might say I love my rods. Lol.
Well....I know y'all talked me into 1. That was unanimous decision from a solid list of references.

Does the spacing, diameter and composition of the eyes have at least a little to do with being successful with casting distance and accuracy? Also the kick of the rod as it springs back.
But casting may not matter as much when you fishing stocked docks or using livescope . ROFL. KaboomSent from my E6810 using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app
Guide spacing, diameter and height have an influence on casting distance. Guide ring composition has very little influence on casting distance. Reel spool diameter and how full you fill your spool will have considerable impact on your casting distance along with the type of line you are using. Whichever one you pick, probably be a little better than what I started with, but it did do the trick. [emoji3]

Opinions on rods are like opinion on cars. Depends on what your interpretation is of "light" and "casting ability". That only comes from trying out rods and seeing what best fits your liking. And yes, it does come down to what you like, not from what you read or hear about. That being said, this season I'm trying out a new rod - the Diawa Presso 7.5' UL. So far I am very pleased and it comes in a close second to my all time favorite, the Sam Heaton Super Sensitive in 7' length.
Do some research. Check out videos on YouTube. Quantify what you need and are looking for and then just buy one and try it. You can always sell it on eBay! :)
