I remember exactly where I was. Even took action and sent my employees home that day cause we were in a big glass building outside Chicago. I was in shock as I watched live when the second plane hit.
I was working for another company and I remember hearing on the radio a plane hit one of the towers. I told everyone and we sort of assumed it was a small private plane and didn't worry to much about it. Then when I hear on radio another plane hit I remember clear as day the company owners wife says " well that's it, we are at war!" at that moment it sunk in and hit like a brick what was happening and going on and everyone was focused on radio and online tv.
Remember it distinctly. Beside the horrible images on tv, I noticed the absence of all air traffic. It was eerie.
I remember it as clearly today as the day it happened. Where I was, who I was meeting with that morning, bringing my daughter home from school, everything.
I will always remember I was at work in the break room and the tv was on and the news came on. I was in shock that we had been attacked. I wondered what Pearl Harbor must have been !ike.
I remember, I was West bound on hyw 58 in Va. headed down to Henderson, NC to deliver a container of goods. Wife called to see where I was and told me to turn the news on...that's when the 2nd plane hit. Next door neighbor, at the time, was supposed to be in tower 2 for some classes with Hanjin container shipping. They were way ahead of schedule, so they decided to take the rest of the week off, otherwise he would have been caught up in it. He said the classes started at 0630 in the morning...
it was one of the most unbelievable days of my life .
on my stepdads birthday no less .
I was at work at Rush Hospital when our pharmacy manager
called all of us into the conference room to watch what was
occurring at the time. We were watching live TV and could
not believe our eyes of what was happening. Thank God for
the courageous police officers and firemen who rushed into
that disaster not knowing what they would be facing!
Never forget the attack USA FLAG
I was getting dressed for the funeral of a close friend while watching it on TV. I was already feeling down and then that on top of it. I was sad, scared, and pi**ed all the same time.

I don't know how anyone who saw it can ever forget Sept. 11, 2001. Heroes showed their colors that day. God Bless them and all who mourn the Americans lost that day.USA FLAG
I'll never forget. I was sitting on the side of I-81 on the Maryland state line. Was waiting on a tow truck. Started to cry while listening to the radio. Such a helpless feeling. Always remember. Not on just this day.
Remember? Oh Yes..... and on the 12th, when President Bush said.... LET'S ROLL
Lots of good documentaries on TV today. I couldn't stop watching.
God bless all gave and those we lost. Attacked and terrorized back then, America is being attacked again, but this time from within.
I was home on leave from Fort Bragg painting my mother’s front porch. I finished up the little I had left and headed back to base, 3 months later I landed at Bagram Airbase, Afghanistan for a 12 month tour.
God Bless America.
USA FLAG
I remember watching it in complete horror and disbelief; the feeling of absolute helplessness cause there was nothing I could do but watch; and the feelings of complete outrage I felt for the spineless terrorists who conducted the attack.
Like many others... I will never forget those feelings and hope I don't live long enough to witness anything else like it. That day, along with a few others, will forever live in infamy.
No politics. Gonna close this one too
