Looks like they in hog heaven for sure! :Rofl
lots nice looking sausage potential!
looks like a real big one stuck its snout in there and jacked it up .
big hogs can really tear stuff up .
we had a guy on a place lose one of those Sweeney square feeders a week after he set it up
They are expensive and we thought someone stole it
we found it several weeks later 250 yards away in the brush beat up to the point of no return
Man, I hate that for you. We have had hogs get under the legs of feeders like that and turn them completely over, that will mess them up bad. The last one we put up like that we drove "T" post in the ground by the legs and secured the legs to the "T" post with heavy gauge wire. Loos like you got some hog killing to do.
At the lease I used to hunt in FL, we could never use tripod feeders because of both hogs and cattle (bulls loved to turn them over). We had to hang them from sturdy oak tree limbs.
My son had to hang one high on a limb because of a black bear. He tore it up!
I took a section out of the down spout so only the free range elk in the area could reach it...so I thought haha!!!
Sorry, we have bears, they can tear up anything!

one thing i might mention is that for sure a deer will stand on its hind feet to reach food
so even though its high now it wont likely stop the deer and possibly not the really big pigs either
Had a nice bull show up and feeder was empty
Headed that way in morning to do some repairs and raise it up another foot.
do yawl have a season on elk up that way ?
Nice bull!

Yes but there is only 5 tags available for the se zone. When the quota is met the season closes. I was lucky to fill the last tag available 1 hour before dark on the first day of archery last year with a 3x4.
I had several other bulls come by during the season after it was closed. There is a good herd of free range elk in the county where my lease is located.
We have to hang everything, the bears will bring down a tripod immediately.Ive had to hang feeders on a cemented pipe with an arm to keep bears from climbing to reach the feeder. We don’t have a hog problem here, but in a slightly envious way I wish we had some.
I'm glad we dont have any bears yet. There is a couple on a different lease I have about 60 miles to the east and your right they will demolish a feeder. Luckily they dont stick around for long.
Well it didn't take long for this 5x5 to find it. He was there for about two hours.
do they issue cow tags ? my buds swear cows taste way better
the natives up in Alaska and Canada dont like to shoot bull caribou
they say they dont taste good as well ?
i bet if you are seeing multiple bulls like shown on camera the herd is pretty large .
a good bull will tend quite a few cows from what i saw when we raised them .
interesting that they are coming around so well ,back in the day when they tried to get them going in Pa. there was always some ding dong shooting them during deer season and saying i dint know it wasnt a deer
there was day when they free ranged most of the us you know
