Nope when we left lake it was 82 or 83 just getting hot, there was a nice breeze which helped all morning, fishing/keeping cool.
That is a nice catch. We're new to this lake and we were shore fishing and got skunked yesterday. We do plan to get our boat up from LA in the coming months.
Any advice on navigating the lake? It's a really nice day trip for us.
pretty easy lake to fish, fish points/drop offs, structure etc with jigs of your choice or minnows whichever you prefer to use.. if fishing weekends get there at daylight and prepare to leave at noon or sooner unless you go north of bridge and fish in the idle zone.
Awesome, much thanks for the pointers. After getting skunked, is more incentive to learn it and do better. Just not on a holiday weekend. 😁
Thanks again.
