Dog Days Crappie on Dale Hollow

Had a great time fishing on Dale Hollow yesterday. Started at 7am and by 11 30am had caught 37 crappie spider-rigging 20ft deep in 23 to 25 FOW. Kept the limit you can see in the picture. All fish were 11 to 13+ inches, but very hefty. Dale Hollow fish have a girth similar to Florida or Mississippi fish and fight according. Spent a couple of hrs in the afternoon looking for and catching some decent bluegill.Attachment 382283Attachment 382284

Wow, nice crappie! I haven't been down there in 50 years, any advice on a reasonable place to stay that I can park the boat/trailer? Also where is the best spot to catch nice crappie like those?

Yes, I found some really nice bluegill on the steep bluff walls 7 to 12 ft deep.
