My son works for the gas company, as a regulator tech, so he works outside all the time. In the past, he has had ticks get on him, but has been lucky, that he has felt them, before they got attached to him. They are now buying clothes for their workers, to reduce the chance of them being bitten by ticks. My son said last night, that since wearing the pants, he hasn't had any ticks be on him. The pants can be washed 100 times, before the repellent quits working.
Why did I bring this up? Because it seems that every year, it seems that there are more ticks, than the year before. Permethrin Spray, is the repellent, that is being used in the pants he wears. Bank fishing people, and hunters, should think about using something to protect themselves.
insect shield is the name of the company. Tried to bring the link here, but it isn't cooperating. They sell the spray there, and also clothing from children thru adults, with the spray embedded, into the clothes. Linking what they say on site below.
