Hope my buddy Swampseed sees this . He struggles with Southern culture . Took forever to teach him the difference between over there and down yonder . You can see over there , Down yonder is about as far as you can see and way down yonder is past where you can see ! This will surely help him "iffin " he would study these basic words . :biggrin
On Monday, I will have been a southerner for 61 years. Yeah, I gottumall!
This Yankee got them all, y'all.
Yallgotemall
:Rofl
A southerner speaks so slowly that it’s easy to understand when hearing it. Fortunately, I read in a slow, southern drawl! Plus, we don’t spellsgud!
Peessacake.
Down yonder South.. Up yonder is North.. Over yonder is East.. Bach yonder is West

That's a universal language Ship.
I was an elementary teacher and literacy coach. All my students talked like that at first.😁
used to be and still exists some folks that dont git me .....
this dictionary will truly hepem :Rofl
Now put that on a CB radio and imagine yourself in East Tennessee and western North Carolina with a heavy southern drawl. I really had to listen to keep up.
If you can't understand this lingo, you'd be considered suspicious around here. Probably a carpetbagger or a dang yankee. Regular yankee will usually go home but a dang yankee moves here and wants to stay LOL
I must be missing something...is this not normal language? :donorotfl
I could have figgered them out before I knowed I was a Yankee!
