I kind of hope the date gets pushed back because I will be on vacation the 1st week of November and it would be hard for me to get more days off less than a week after being back at work.
Since the group camp was reserved a year in advance I would think changing the date would be impractical.
If we still have a Country left by then.......??

Tough decision for me. The 15th is the firearm deer opener here in Michigan and I would hate to miss that. If I can put one down with the crossbow then I'll be there. Pretty sure vbottom will be tagging along.
Aren't you the one that brought down the maple syrup last year? IF so, I will be needing some more, my mom and dad took the bottle you all brought me last year! If for some reason I can't make it, you can get it to Danny, he will be living just down the road from me and about 2 weeks.
Spartannation(Jerry) brings the coffee. Steelguy(John) brought the syrup, that he made no less. I'm planning on going, contacted my friend Warren already.
Remember that the lake will be in drawdown this year. It will be lowered to 75 feet, which is 5 feet below pool. The launch at the state park will be unusable.
How about the launch at the motel on hwy 33 I think.
If we make it down I'll be bringing some coffee with me. If I give it to Danny to give to you I'm not sure if it'll make it to your house. He might fill your bags with Folgers hoping you won't know the difference.:dono Maybe we can talk steelguy out of some syrup, too.
It should be open. Glad to hear you're coming back to God's country.

Jerry , please let me know if you are going and i will send a bunch of syrup down with you!!
When you were launching at highway 2 did you use the launch by the store or on the old highway where everyone parks on the old highway ???
We used the old road last time it was drawn down.
Have they started the draw down for this year yet?
I talked with my son yesterday and he said that D'arbonne is down 3-4 feet from normal pool. Any idea how much lower it will be come gathering time.
It jumped up after the 7" of rain we just hadAttachment 385269

I know several of us were concerned whether or not Darbonne was gonna happen this year. Well I talked to Juicy on that other social media platform and he assured me that it IS GOING to happen this year. They have the lodge booked and he will start asking for donations in October. Still not sure I will be able to make it this year, but I am going the TRY! Will just have to see how work is at that point in time! Hope to see you all there!
Good news Dwyane, and I hope you can make it. Linda and I are planning to be there.

got my RV site reserved, I will be there Lord willing!
At the current rate the lake should reach the target of 75 ft about 10/15. At that point they will adjust the gates and try to maintain that level. Since there is normally a flow over the spillway it may require to keep a gate open to maintain the level. Sent from my SM-T510 using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app
