Taking a break (round2)
According to surgeons whom I trust with my eyesight, scar tissue formed and caused retina to detach again. I kinda knew it because vision was not improving but I tried to fool myself into thinking it was improving. Went to Atlanta today for COVID testing prior to more intensive surgery Monday morning. It has been appropriately 35 days with limited/no vision in right eye. Surgeon promised me he would do his best to make my vision as good as it can be. Please keep our family in your prayers. Curtis

Curtis this problem of retina detachments runs in my family aswell. I was left legally blind from retina detachments, so I know what you are going through. Prayers for all involved with all aspects of surgery. Prayers for a quick recovery(although that will be weeks).
I hope you have a really good retina specialist. Anytime you see something different in your vision have it checked out.

Thanks for all the prayers. It has really been ruff this time but swelling is going down and for the first time in many days can see little bit out of right eye. Dr said everything looked good and will go back this Friday. Blessed to have a wonderful wife who continues to look after me. 4 drops 4 times a day, tablets 3 times a day and love always. Curtis

Sounds great Curtis! I pray you are blessed with a good outcome. Here's a big shellcracker with one of your jigs in his mouth! I painted the heads and fish a wiggler on the hook. Deadly!
