Did y'all see the new College of Charleston provost's husband was murdered while walking with his spouse? She had just taken the job and moved to Charleston. Out for early morning walk and killed in street by 3 black men. Just happened this Friday.

There are lots of nice small lakes in Florida that are very isolated. Some even have nice launch facilities, but thats the very thing that keeps me from going to them. Especially an elderly person like myself would stand no chance.
When i have to arm myself in order to do what i enjoy, then its probably time for me to quit.
You have to also keep in mind that you could end up becoming the bad guy in todays enviornment.

Not sure it was him. Whoever told me he shut them down by making it clear not to approach him on the dock. "Clear" being the operative word.

Sadly, these types of things are happening as people are just going about their normal business. Walking down the street, down a sidewalk in town, driving to the doctor, etc. I understand your thoughts and respect your idea of how to deal with life as we now know it. I on the other hand refuse to let anyone or any evil attempt to control me to be successful. I was raised to treat people how I want to be treated, fear God and love your neighbors. I was also taught that if you can't get along, sometimes you have to get it on. They may get me some day but I promise, they will have to earn it. Yeah, we definitely need to continue to defund the police. After all most states have already defunded the state highway patrol and wildlife enforcement commissions such that you hardly ever see a game warden or state patrolman in the state of NC. I understand that most counties only have one or two highway patrolman and one or two wildlife enforcement officers to cover entire counties. This defunding effort has been in the making by liberally controlled government entities for the last many years and is only getting worse, only because they are running out of all the other places to steal money from. The answer to the crime and lawlessness problem is simple: MORE LAW ENFORCEMENT... NOT LESS!!!

I totally agree that there's no way this T.J. maggot should have ever been free to roam the streets after so many violations of the law. The problems is: There's no money to be made in criminal justice when the scum bags (like this T.J. maggot) who most frequently break the law have no resources for the state and local governments to tap into and/or to profit from; nor do states and local governments want to pay the massive expense of housing and maintaining criminals (like this T.J. maggot), in prisons in their districts. All state and local governments want to do is soak the Federal Government for all of the justice system expenditures that they can claim (which they will always say grows quarterly) and then use the allocation of $$$ for something besides what they were intended for. Once they've squandered all of those money resources for so many years; then they have to look at things like defunding police departments (another good chunk of money) who do too good of job arresting and bringing these maggots to justice. It's all corruption and fraud and nothing more. It is totally disgraceful what's going on these days.
