Surgeons knot is what I use. Easy to tie and plenty strong

PS Lefty’s book is probably LONG out of print, but was worth every penny when learning how to tie knots.

Not me, but this is the knot that I use for crappie jigs, crankbaits, and other bass lures.
I've use that knot before,but settled on the surgeon's loop, because it's so much more easier and faster, plus you can use it to make loops for hooks on a drop shot rig.Quote:
