where do you buy your blades , those look real good
Very nice!
Good looking idea and maybe even add a lighter one if you wanted to, like 1/48 Oz.

I have had these blades for 20 years. I don't think this brand is available anymore. There are similar shapes in some catalogs. Sent from my SM-G960U using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app
Nice looking spinner rig.
I use a similar rig with a propeller spinner.
I use these when slow trolling as the spinner will turn at very slow speeds.
Skip the weights I listed were the weight of the lure bodies as listed in Do-it catalog. I have since weighted the entire spinners and they weigh: 1/16, 1/9 and 1/7oz. Sorry I didn't get that stated the first time. Sent from my SM-G960U using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app
Looks great I bet they would be a killer combo long lining.

Well I guess that blade should help you make a slower retrieve with them.
Clean looking rig for sure!

I have the mold and have cast hundred of them quite a few years ago. It is a very easy mold to cast with. Do-It mold.Sent from my SM-G960U using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app
Those look different. I make a regular spinner but instead of a using a plain hook I use a trout fly. Do the ones with a weighted jig still have good blade spin? Great idea.👍👍
Very much so. They spin as at a fairly slow retrieve speed. You have to match the blade size to weight. My blades above were size 0, 1 and 2. To big of a blade will effect how easily it spins. I've done a lot of testing on this. Clevis size also makes a difference.

Make a lot of spinners! The swiss swings if you can find them work great!! I've got a lot of vintage spinner blades that work very well!!
