Almost all of East Houma is flooded. The bayous and the Intracoastal are full and the water has no where to go. Over 5" since daylight.

Bad deal...Never realized you were that far south.

Gene Is it ever gonna stop raining down there? How much rain did ya'll get?
Chip I dumped 3" out of my gauge day before yesterday and 5" yesterday, and 1.5 ths morning. I'd say that is enough but the weatherman says more today. Suppose to have a break tomorrow and if so I'll go fishing. With all the water I won't have to go far.

Boat is OK...Toyota next to it is OK also....nothing like good friends...I have had lots of offers to take me fishing, either my boat or theirs....3 friends even offered to loan me their truck...I am Blessed....yard all cleaned up now..trying to settle up with State Farm...at my age, I just can't see a brand new truck...looking for a good used GMC...crew cab or extended cab..don't care for 4 WD, black exterior or leather seats...under $20K....Quote:
