I was just wondering what the going price of pure gas ( non ethanol) was going for . There are 2 stations near my house that sell it for around 280 per gallon.

$2.69 for 93 octane non-ethanol here in Shelby.
The station down the rd still has it for 3.29 as it has been since last year
Those prices are cheap! The nearest place to me that sells it is Knotts Island in NC and about 8 months ago it was almost $5.00
2.80-3.00 is about what it's going for here at the coast unless you buy on the water. Then it's about 4 bucks a gallon.
search for the web page,, puregas.org ,It will show local stations that sell pure gasoline
Here you go

Do any of you that are using pure gas also use any kind of additive? I had been using regular gas and was using an additive. Now I use pure gas without an additive. I was wondering if I should still use an additive.
Thanks

Using non ethanol fuel will eliminate the ethanol issues but you still need to clean injectors and carbon deposits occasionally. Sea foam, Techron, Quick kleen, etc will keep everything running great for a long time.

How much sea foam to a gallon? I have a 115hp Optimax.
I think the bottle suggests a bottle to 20 gal. The instructions are on every brand I’ve ever used.

Mann Marine suggested to use the K100 stuff. I've used SeaFoam for years with good results though.
Pretty sure I read that Sea Foam wasn't good for 4 stroke.
There are three general uses for Sea Foam. One is as a fuel-system cleaner which would use the ratio you described. Second, is a carbon preventative. For two-stroke engines, I run Sea Foam at the rate of 1oz to 10 gallons of gas. That helps to prevent carbon from building up on the rings and valves. Third is as a shock treatment. That ratio is 1 can to 3/4 gallon of fuel - used in run/sit/run/sit sequence until the heavy smoking stops (burns carbon off of rings and valves).
Seafoam is mostly ETHANOL,Snake oil.
Incorrect.
According to the Seafoam MSDS for Original Engine Treatment, no ethanol is listed.
Isopropanol, made from Propane, is an ingredient, at less than 25 percent.
Marine Seafoam MSDS lists 100 percent petroleum derivatives. No ethanol.

Add Sea Foam and don’t worry about the gas.
Seems the consensus is to just use SeaFoam and you don't need any other additives. I'll be picking some up shortly. If using SeaFoam, how important is it to run straight gas vs that with ethanol?

In my opionion, ethanol has no place on ANY engine that uses a vented gas tank. It is the vent that allows atmospheric moisture to get sucked in as the air in the tank expands and contracts with temperature changes. I only run pure gas in my motorcycle, lawnmowers, weed eater, chain saw, boat, etc.
Non ethanol fuel and Yamaha Ring Free in every tank full for me. My 115 Suzuki does not burn much fuel so a quart of the stuff lasts 2-3 years. A quart treats 320 gallons. Carbon will kill a 4 stroke outboard eventually.
PURE GAS APP on the phone. used it for years.
Thanks for sharing the link slowhand, I only run 0E gas in my boat, mowers, saws, well any power equipment.
Thank you , I have used it too for some time . But I can’t find the price per gallon on it .

iF IT IS AN OLDER ENGINE THE FUEL LINES ARE NOT RATED FOR ETHONOL AND IT WILL CAUSE THEM TO DETERIATE AND CLOG UP FUEL FILTERS
Tarheel, on a optimax motor , you should have been using quick kleen at every fill up.
As far as decarbonizing 2 strokes. It recommended every spring. We use CRC Decarb an tune up , on all 2 strokes that come in at shop ( not opitmax's and yammy hpdi v- max) those motor shoot fuel in through the air injectors that's why they use kleen additives at every fill up.
We have. 1200 gals. Of pure gas at shop that we sale.
Mbsbeek where is your shop located and the name of the shop?
DT'S marine. Just off 87 Hwy. between spring lake and Sanford.
